meet our Team

The CF Warrior Foundation was born from a story of love, resilience, and purpose. Tim and Beth Sweeney’s journey began long before the idea of a foundation—rooted in two decades of shared strength, family, and the daily fight against cystic fibrosis. As a personal trainer living with CF, Tim learned firsthand the power of exercise, mindset, and nutrition in transforming not just his body, but his health and outlook on life. Beth, a lifelong entrepreneur and creative force behind Coppermill Kitchen, brought her heart, compassion, and drive to every battle they faced together.

Their shared vision grew from lived experience into a movement—to help others with cystic fibrosis live stronger, breathe deeper, and rise with confidence. What started as one family’s fight has become a global mission to empower CF Warriors and their families with the tools, knowledge, and community they need to thrive.

Tim Sweeney CF Warrior

tim's story

Tim Sweeney is a double lung and kidney transplant survivor, CF Warrior, personal trainer, nutrition counselor, author, creator of the HIIT PAUSE System for CF exercise, and co-founder of the CF Warrior Foundation.

Living with cystic fibrosis since birth, Tim has faced every obstacle the disease could bring—yet through his relentless spirit, he has turned adversity into purpose. As both a survivor and a father, he understands the weight a CF diagnosis places not just on the individual, but on the entire family. His journey through countless hospital stays, surgeries, and the miraculous gift of transplant taught him that faith, mindset, and movement are the true pillars of life.

With over 25 years of experience in fitness and health coaching, Tim has helped countless individuals build strength, discipline, and belief in their own potential. Through his HIIT PAUSE System, he brings that same philosophy to the CF community—showing that the body and spirit can be trained to rise above limitation.

Today, Tim is on a mission to educate, empower, and uplift families living with cystic fibrosis. His message is one of perseverance and divine purpose—that even in the hardest battles, God can use every breath, every setback, and every victory to write a story of strength, hope, and healing.

Every Tool Strengthens the Fight

beth's story

Beth brings heart, creativity, and vision to the CF Warrior Foundation. As a mother, long-term caregiver, and somatic coach, she has lived the realities of cystic fibrosis firsthand—the hospital stays, the daily uncertainties, and the profound strength it takes to keep hope alive. Her journey caring for her loved one with CF has given her a deep understanding of the emotional, physical, and relational tools families need to thrive—not just survive.

Long before co-founding the Foundation, Beth found purpose in giving back to the CF community through her Breaths for a Cause charity runs and fundraising events benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. These early acts of advocacy laid the groundwork for her lifelong commitment to supporting CF families with compassion, education, and connection.

As the founder of Coppermill Kitchen, LLC, a brand celebrated for its heirloom craftsmanship and attention to detail, Beth built a business rooted in storytelling, resilience, and legacy. Today, she pours that same dedication into the CF Warrior Foundation—creating programs that strengthen families, nurture emotional well-being, and honor the courage it takes to live every day with CF.

Her leadership is guided by empathy, creativity, and faith—the kind that believes every challenge is a divine chiseling of the heart, shaping us into vessels of grace, purpose, and unwavering hope.
